I designed this project in my Typography class at Columbia College Chicago. Our task was to pick an author and choose 3 of their books and remix it into 1 while using pull quotes for their books. With those pull quotes we combined it with image whose significance impacted with the quote. The author I chose was Rick Riordan who wrote "The Lightning Thief" series based on fictional Greek mythology. The images I chose were mostly statues, monuments, and animals. I made them all grayscale because it would bring out the typography which was the main focus. I also used the curvature in some images which made it more impactful. I did print a physical copy and it turned out very well with the color palette of orange, purple, and other colors used from the authors books.
