This was a in class project at Columbia College Chicago. Our assignment was to make Abecedarium of a topic of our choice. Which means an A - Z project. I chose to make a heroes & villains because I am a big fan of Marvel and DC comics in general. For the layout of the project I used a 8Wx5H to make them into a card/book feel. I didn't wan't to just put the image of the character on the right, so I used a pattern for one spread to have the character logo and the next spread a comic background. For the typography I chose a inline type for the letters of the alphabet and a comic font for the character names. I chose cartoon like characters because I felt the project would look better than just a regular comic image of the character. I made the character's the only colored image because it would bring focus to them which is why I made the other images grayscale.
